Katelynn Schmidt-Chambers, known affectionately as Kate, is a distinguished figure in the world of floral design, with nearly two decades of experience enriching the Philadelphia region. As the Wedding and Event Sales Manager at Xtraordinary Events, she has cemented her reputation for crafting unparalleled, unique designs, treating each event and wedding as a distinct, artistic endeavor. Her unmatched talent and eye for color, texture, and style have made her a go-to visionary in the industry.

 

Kate's deep-rooted love for flowers is evident in every piece she creates, transforming her visions into flawless, artistic masterpieces. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her joy of seeing the fruits of her labor - a job well done that continually raises the bar in floral design. Her illustrious career includes collaborations with some of the most influential designers in the Philadelphia area, contributing to teams that have earned prestigious accolades such as Wedding Wire's "Couples Choice Awards" and "Bride Choice Awards," as well as The Knot's "Best of Weddings" and "Best Florist in South Jersey."

 

Raised in South Jersey, Kate's affinity for all things organic was nurtured early on. Her academic pursuit in Ornamental Horticulture further deepened her connection with nature, a trait that remains central to her life and work. Kate is a proponent of sustainable, organic gardening, a passion she practices in her own expansive organic vegetable and fresh cut flower gardens. Her New Jersey roots, in "The Garden State," have equipped her with exceptional skills in cultivating the finest organic produce.
